"This project was designed to be printed on cloth as a fat quarter or quilt square. When I was making this project, I wanted to highlight the Shenandoah River, with the bright blue. To reflect the rolling, hilly landscape, I used a watercolor style to fill in the green of the land, with a lighter green used to focus the reader on the valley itself. I created the hand drawn-style mountains, and they are accurate representations of the elevation of each peak drawn."
