"This project takes the user on a tour of the East side of Madison, WI, particularly the Schenk’s Corner and Atwood area. It is intended to be opened on the user’s phone as they walk the route of the tour. Each stop features a small patch of green space that contribute to the unique fabric of the neighborhood and tells the story of the neighborhood’s change over time. Highlights include statues created by a local artist, a bike path created via a rails-to-trails project, and the village hall for a community which has been entirely subsumed by the city of Madison. This project uses a custom code library designed for the creation of walking tours."
